                TEACHING PRACTICE WEEKLY REPORT -1


                                     Week 1 ( 12-11- 2018 to 17-11-2018) 

     
                          As a part of our B.Ed curriculum , in the fourth semester we have a 30 days of teaching practice.I am selected Mount Tabor Girls H.S.S ,Pathanapuram  for the teaching practice.Before we go to the school for the teaching practice we collected timetable and portions. As per time table i got five periods every week. I usually reached the school by 9.15 am. My supervising  teacher is Mrs Mary Mathew, who is very supportive.And my class in 9 B .There are 42 students in the class. I love them all. The teaching practice was started on 12-11-2018. On the first day we hand over the attendance register to our headmaster( Koshy Sir). Headmaster provides a separate  room for B.Ed  trainees.
                       On the first week some exam named 'Thuilyada Pareeksha' was  conducted in the school.For the first day ,it was a great day for me, I present some power point presentation in the class that helps to introduce the chapter ' Circle Measures'.On Wednesday (November 14)
school celebrated the children's  day. Children's day special assembly were conducted. It was presided  by the Headmaster. Children's day messages were delivered by both teachers and students.
                            In this week I got 8 classes . I introduced the chapter CIRCLE MEASURES through different activities . I got 3 substitution period in 9 B  in this week. I worked out many problems based on three different sub unit in this chapter( circle&polygons,diameter&perimeter,a new number).Altogether i completed 8 lesson plan at the end of the week.
                          On whole this week was a nice experience for me.

CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME I conduct a conscientization programme on the topic “Traffic Rules And Road safety” in     M.T.G.H.S. Pathanapuram   on 22/01/2019 Tuesday during   5 th and 6 th period in 9B I selected  this topic in order to create an awareness among students about growth in the number of road accidents. One of the main reason for their is lack of awareness about the traffic rules among the people, so this programme aimed to create awareness about  the importance of understanding various traffic rules and road safety measure  My conscientization programme was done in a good way. I got a good feedback from the part of the students. All students participated in the programme with a great interest.
